I am a Derbyshire based artist. 

Graduating from Derby University in 2012, with a BA hons fine Art. I initially finished Uni as a Ceramic and mixed multimedia Artist, however my heart just wasn't for Ceramics, I found myself obsessed with Metal especially the rusty kind.

In 2017 I decided I needed to take the plunge and enrolled myself on to a level 1 welding course, learnt the basics, then dived straight into the deep end and taught myself the rest.

Metal Art is my passion, I love everything about it, I love the rawness of the material, cold, hard and flat, yet so versatile, that I can then create beautiful art which has a delicate aesthetic.

My work is very much focused around Nature and all things Botanical, The entire life cycles and Genetics fascinate me, and all carry such similarities to the human kind.

It has taken me a long time to get to a place where I no longer feel the need to force a meaning behind what I create, but to just create what comes naturally to me, this is very evident in some of my abstract works, they are all linked to the sense of freedom and flow, which is very much the mantra of my life.
